Loved these non smiley photos. They reminded me of my childhood in Ghana with a very clear difference – the people, by and large, appear to be better dressed and in western clothes. I remember the women particularly in fabric and styles from Ghana – mammy cloth. In your photos there are a few women with wrap around fabric ‘skirts’ and cloths fro carrying children but the majority are wearing western clothes – times change. I’m guessing western clothes are readily available and cheap or even sent by charities?
